Created By in Email Templates

User wants to send an email that pulls the creator of a sales order via Freemarker. It is currently not possible to pull the creator of a sales order onto an email without customization.
  1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
  2. Click Transaction
  3. Search Title: Enter a title
  4. Public: Enter Checkmark
  5. Click Criteria
  6. Filter: Select System Notes
    1. System Notes Filter: Select Type
      1. Type: Select Create
      2. Click Set
  7. Click Results
  8. Click Remove All
  9. Field: Select Formula (Text)
    1. Summary Type: Select Maximum
    2. Formula: Enter {systemnotes.name}
  10. Click Available Filters
  11. Filter: Select Internal ID
  12. Click Save & Run
  13. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New
  14. Label: Enter a label
  15. Type: Select Free-Form Text
  16. Store Value: Remove Checkmark
  17. Click Applies To
  18. Sale: Enter Checkmark
  19. Click Display
  20. Subtab: Select Main
  21. Display Type: Select Inline Text
  22. Click Validation & Defaulting
  23. Search: Select the search that was created
  24. Click Save
  25. View any Sales Order
  26. Click Communication
  27. Click Email
    1. Click Message
    2. Insert Field: Select the newly created field
    3. Click Preview
